Food For Fines

Food for Fines

Each year, the library offers cardholders a chance to wipe the slate clean with Food for Fines. Food for Fines is a program that helps the New Lenox Township Food Pantry stock its shelves. Food for Fines will be happening from August 4-9 at the Library.

Patrons may bring in a non-perishable food item, and the library will waive up to $15.00 in late fees from their card. The library asks that no expired food be brought in. Food items may not be used for lost or damaged materials.

If patrons don’t have any late fees, but still want to donate, they can drop off food at the Library’s front desk.

The New Lenox Public Library is located at 120 Veterans Parkway, New Lenox, IL 60451.

The library is open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Fridays from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
