Get in the Game Read

New Lenox Public Library District
Summer Reading Program
June 9-July 26

This summer’s reading program theme is Get in the Game, READ! which begins June 9 and ends July 26.
The first week, June 9-14, is registration only, so drop in to pick up your reading logs and books. You will earn a prize for every three hours you spend reading or listening to someone read to you. Every time you bring in your sheet and show you’ve done some reading (up to once a day!), you will get a raffle ticket for weekly raffles! This program is for children from birth through entering 8th grade.
You must live in the New Lenox Library District and be entering 8th grade or younger to participate.

Parents and caregivers are asked to remain in the building during all children’s programs.

Join us at our final event, Friday, August 8 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Children who have completed their summer reading goals by reading 12 hours during the summer reading program will be invited to attend our final event at the Haunted Trails Amusement Park and Entertainment Center in Joliet. Come for an evening of fun, free pizza (for children) and raffle prizes! Siblings and caregivers are also invited. Pick up RSVP form upon completion of your 12 hours.

Sports Fan Hat Week
During the first week of the summer reading program, June 9-14, celebrate your favorite team by wearing their sports hat! When you register for the summer reading program, show off your hat! We will keep track of the hats we see to determine whose team has the most fans!
