E-Mail Services
We are pleased to offer e-mail notification service at the New Lenox Library! Give us your e-mail address and we'll notify you via e-mail when your holds are in or even of overdue materials! Return them during the grace period and avoid late charges!
Sign up at the Circulation Desk or in HAL under “My Account.” Please keep in mind all parties sharing one e-mail account will have access to library-generated e-mails. You may wish to keep this private.
It’s hard to make ends meet nowadays, and we at the New Lenox Public Library are trying hard to decrease or eliminate your late charges. We hope you find this new service beneficial.

New Checkout Periods
- Starting July 1, 2006 most books and other library items will be checked out for three weeks instead of two. Books may be renewed once.
- All DVDs and videos will be checked out for one week with no renewals.
- Check-out times for new fiction will stay at 2 weeks with no renewals.
