Detective D.D. Warren is called in to investigate the disappearance of Sandra Jones. Sandra is married, has a four-year-old daughter, and teaches 6th grade Social Studies in South Boston where she and her family live. Her husband Jason is a successful reporter. Their lives seem ideal until Sandra disappears during the night. Jason finds her purse and keys on the kitchen counter and their daughter sleeping in her room. Nothing seems disturbed. All of her personal belongings are still in the house. None of this makes sense. Where would she go? Why would she leave her little girl? Jason becomes an instant suspect when he refuses to answer questions about his wife’s disappearance. As Detective Warren looks further into the investigation, she discovers that the couple’s life together was not so perfect after all.
The Neighbor has a wickedly twisted storyline and a shocking conclusion.
This is the third book in the "Detective D. D. Warren Series."
