Friday, June 26, 2020

Update on October 5, 2020: Please see the Will County Clerk’s list of Vote By Mail Drop Boxes on their Vote by Mail page for participating drop box locations.

You may apply online now for a Vote by Mail ballot for the 2020 Presidential Election at https://www.thewillcountyclerk.com/vote-by-mail-application/.

When you apply online to Vote By Mail, the Will County Clerk's office will send you emails:

  1. When your ballot is mailed to you,
  2. When the Clerk's office receives your Ballot Return Envelope, and
  3. When your ballot has been processed and counted.

The Clerk's office will start mailing ballots in late September / early October 2020. All Vote By Mail ballots come with postage-paid Ballot Return Envelopes. You may submit the Ballot Return Envelope in a secured drop box (see Will County Clerk’s list of Vote By Mail Drop Boxes on their Vote by Mail page). You may also use standard US mail. If you use standard US mail to send your Ballot Return envelope, you must get a postmark before or on Election Day, Nov. 3.
