Miss Tanya put together this fun bulletin board featuring just some of our collection of storybooks on dragons, princes, princesses, knights, fairytales, castles, magic, and more! Make March magical by discovering the fun worlds that await you and your child in a storybook!

Storytimes for Wee Ones

The Library offers storytimes for all ages, including our very youngest patrons. Join us Monday mornings 11:15-11:45 am for Wiggle Worms, a lapsit storytime for babies up to 12 months old! Have fun with Miss Jen as she introduces stories, music, and finger plays to babies and their caregivers. Please note, this particular storytime is intended for babies up to 12 months old; walking babies from 12-23 months old with a caregiver meet on Mondays 10:30-11:00 am for Movers & Shakers. And Miss Gina has lots of fun with the 2-3 1/2 year old toddlers and their caregivers in Wee Readers on Thursday mornings 11:15-11:45 am. These are just a few of our storytime programs -- check our calendar or our program guide for the rest. Our current session runs March 3-April 12. We hope to see you soon at the Library!

FREE Tax Assistance for Seniors

The Senior Services Center of Will County has just informed the library that Friday, March 14 from 10 am to 2 pm is the last day they will be providing free tax assistance this year at New Lenox Public Library. Seniors can contact Mokena Public Library at 708-479-9663 to be put on a waiting list to have their taxes done or contact the Senior Services Center of Will County at 815-723-9713.

Yes, that's right, and there is NO CATCH! Effective IMMEDIATELY, all New Lenox Public Library cardholders can now download 5 songs per week per library card through Freegal. This maximum was set at 3 and has just been increased to 5, at no additional charge, no catch, no gimmicks. If you have yet to try Freegal now is a good time to do it. Just go to "Books and More" and then "Digital and Downloadable" from the library's website. With 5 downloads per week from a collection of thousands of songs you can quickly build up your music library, compliments of the New Lenox Public Library and Freegal. So, happy downloading!

Teen Tech Week

Teens (6th to 12th grade) come the library Adult Services Desk between March 9 and 15 to submit an e-book review with your name and contact information. E-books can be downloaded from our Books & Audiobooks page. Your name will be entered into a raffle to win a $15 gift card to a place of your choice.
