THE TEEN WINTER READING CHALLENGE IS HERE!
NOW through March 1st
1. Pick up a Reading Bingo Card from the library upstairs in Adult Services.
2. Compete a row of Bingo (Vertically, Horizontally or Diagnoally) by reading the type of book in each square.
3. Bring in your sheet and repeat!
4. Get entered into our 2 raffles:
-Half-Way Raffle: January 19th for $50 in Gift Cards
-Grand Prize Raffle: March 2nd for Flip Video Handheld Video Camera!
T-SHIRT SCARF EVENT
Saturday, January 14th @ 1PM
Have a bunch of old t-shirts that you wouldn't mind cutting up and making them into something else? Bring them to the library and learn how to make a T-Shirt Loop Scarf! We will also have shirts on hand. Bring a friend and get entered into our T-Shirt Contest!
LEARN TO FINGER KNIT

It's FREEZING outside! Wouldn't a nice, new scarf really warm you up? Come to the library tonight and learn how to knit your own scarf...using JUST YOUR HANDS! Register yourself and friend.
TEEN PAPER CRAFTS NIGHT

Learn how to make your own stationary, envelopes and cards!
FINGER CROCHETING
Tuesday, February 28th @6PM
Come learn how to use your hands to make an awesome crochet blanket! Then start crocheting and enjoy a snack while you work and chat with friends. If you have a certain type of yarn you would like to use, please feel free to bring it. Otherwise, you can use some our practice yarns!
The Teen Scene
The Teen Scene will also be starting a Teen Advisory Group in March 2012. We’ll be doing activities for the library and meeting every other month! Come get involved and earn community service hours at your library. If you are interested in signing up, please get a volunteer form upstairs in the Teen Scene area of the library. You can turn it in at Adult Services.

Are you looking for a great way to use your computer expertise, and earn community service
hours? The New Lenox Public Library is looking for teens interested in being helpers during
