What eBooks and other download services does the Library offer?

eBooks

eBooks are an electronic version of printed books that can be read on a computer or handheld device. We offer these eBook services:

  • Overdrive and Libby
  • Axis 360
  • Biblioboard
  • Tumblebooks Library

eAudiobooks

Audiobooks are sound recordings of books. You can access eAudiobooks digitally, through apps on your phone or tablet instead of on CD or cassette tape. We offer these eAudiobook services:

  • Overdrive and Libby
  • Axis 360
  • RBdigital

Digital Magazines

Flip through new magazines monthly on your phone, tablet, or computer. Save them forever; no checkout or return needed. We offer these digital magazine services:

  • RBdigital

Videos

Some of our apps even offer video access. We offer these video services:

  • Overdrive
  • Biblioboard

How do I get help with eBooks and downloads?

On our eBooks, eAudiobooks and Digital Magazines page, you will find links to tutorials and help documentation for each service we offer.

If you'd prefer in-person help, bring your device to the library and ask staff. We're always glad to show you how our resources work and guide you through any sticking points.

How many items can I check out?

  • Overdrive and Libby: 5 items at a time 
  • Axis 360: 5 items at a time
  • RBdigital:
    • eAudiobooks for Children and Young Adults: Everyone can access these items whenever they like. No check out necessary, and no due dates. 
    • eAudiobooks for Adults: 10 items at a time 
    • Digital Magazines: Everyone can access these items whenever they like. No check out necessary, and no due dates. 
  • Biblioboard: Everyone can access these items whenever they like. No check out necessary, and no due dates. 
  • Tumblebooks: Everyone can access these items whenever they like. No check out necessary, and no due dates.

How many items can I put on hold?

  • Overdrive and Libby: Hold up to 6 items at a time
  • Axis 360: Hold up to 5 items at a time
  • RBdigital:
    • eAudiobooks for Children and Young Adults: Everyone can access these items whenever they like. No holds needed!
    • eAudiobooks for Adults: Hold up to 3 items at a time 
    • Digital Magazines: Everyone can access these items whenever they like. No holds needed!
