September brings interactive & on-demand programs

Youth & Family

  • It's Storytime Live! Four kinds of interactive storytimes a week, all on Zoom
  • Kids' Book Clubs in person at the library, safely masked and socially distanced (subject to change)
  • On-demand videos to access any time, when it's convenient for you
  • Challenge your LEGO skills with a new building challenge to win bricktastic bragging rights as the “Brick Builder Champ” of the month
  • Join Family Fun Fridays with a new storytime and craft theme each week

Teens & Adults

  • Genealogy and craft programs in person at the library, safely masked and socially distanced (subject to change)
  • Knitters, crocheters, stitchers unite! Stitch Together continues monthly on Zoom
  • Take & Make vinyl sign to create at home, with step-by-step video instructions
  • Trivia Night videos and a Digital Escape Room to access any time, when it's convenient for you
  • Expanded digitization and scanning services for New Lenox Library card holders

Masks are required inside the library, and must cover the nose and mouth at all times. All in-person program participants must follow social distancing requirements.

September is Library Card Signup Month! Open, renew, or refer a friend who gets a new library card and you could win a raffle basket featuring gift cards from local businesses.

Kids can show their current library card to Circulation in the lobby during September for a special prize!
