Teardrop at the Library café opening July 20

Monday, July 13, 2020

The library is excited to welcome Teardrop at the Library to its café space! Earlier this year, the library issued a Request for Proposal for its café space and was lucky to receive several qualified applicants. After reviewing and discussing the submissions, the New Lenox Public Library District Board of Trustees selected Gina's Teardrop Café. The quality of the proposal, the history of success of Gina's Teardrop Café on Laraway (including being named the Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 Business of the Year), and Gina’s investment in the New Lenox community were determining factors in selecting the newest café licensee.

The café is currently making improvements to the space and will be opening on July 20. Watch our Café page for more details and follow Gina's Teardrop Café on Facebook for updates.
