National Novel Writing Month

By amiddleton on November 6, 2017

November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) — a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30.

Valuing enthusiasm, determination, and a deadline, NaNoWriMo is for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel — or if you’re feeling rebellious, a memoir, a collection of short stories, or any other type of writing you’d like to try. (November is also the national month for lots of cool creative projects.)

Ghouls & Golf a huge success!

By amiddleton on November 3, 2017

We are so grateful that 1,100 of you came out for Ghouls & Golf on Sunday, October 29. That's about 500 more than last year. WOW! Here's Channel 6's video of the event:

We also thank all of our FABULOUS volunteers who came out Saturday evening to help us set up, and on Sunday to help with the set-up, event, and clean-up. We cannot thank you all enough; we cannot do this event without you. WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS!
