Library Launches New Website

The library website has been revamped and features a new design. We hope you enjoy the new layout and design and would love to hear any thoughts, questions or concerns you have concerning the new site. We will be actively working to continue to improve the site to make it easier for patrons to use and appreciate any feedback you have.

Now Playing Mini-Golf Fundraiser

Mark your calendars to putt your way through the library's 18-hole movie themed miniature golf course at the New Lenox Public Library “Now Playing” Mini Golf Fundraiser on Sunday, October 27th.

All ages can tee off anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for adults and teens and $3 for ages 12 and younger.
Enjoy entertainment, raffles, and more!

All proceeds will be used to fund a new Digital Media Lab.

Friends of the Library Reception

Do you LOVE your library? Would you like to help raise money for new technology and programs?

Would you like to help promote the library and all it has to offer? The Friends want to hear your ideas at a Membership Reception on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Anyone who signs up to be a Friend or renews their membership at the reception will receive a certificate for one free book from the Book Sale. Membership is $10 for individuals and $25 for families.

New Senior Center

Seniors 55+ are invited to see and enjoy the new Senior Center on Thursday, August 1st from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. The Senior Center is located in the Adult Services Department on the second floor.

See what the library has to offer seniors. Sit and stay awhile. Coffee and treats will be served. This will be an ongoing event occurring on the first Thursday of every other month.

Bookworm Cafe Open Late for Movie and Concert Goers

The Bookworm Cafe will be open late on the following dates to accommodate attendees of the Wednesday night movies. Stop in for a beverage, sandwich, or an ice cream!
