Winter Reading

Youth Winter Reading Challenge

Chicago Wolves Read to Succeed Winter Reading Club
Mon., Dec. 5 – Sat., Feb. 25
Brith to grade 8

This year the Library will participate in a reading program sponsored by the Chicago Wolves ice hockey team. Participants may win ticket vouchers for a game or other Wolves memorabilia. Pick up your reading log beginning Mon., Dec. 5.

Every year we choose a different not-for-profit organization to help out and teach kids the value of giving back to the world. This winter we are collecting donations to help care for the animals at the Big Run Wolf Ranch located in Lockport. Big Run Wolf Ranch is a non-profit, federally licensed, educational facility, which specializes in the education and conservation of North American wildlife.
