Event Details

Unleash your creativity and your pet’s inner star! 

Join our month-long DIY Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest, where pets of all kinds strut their stuff in handmade, maker-themed costumes. Whether it’s cardboard armor, crocheted capes, or 3D-printed wings, show off your crafting skills and your pet’s charm. Submit a photo to compete in fun categories for a chance to win pawsome prizes! 

Submissions Accepted: Wednesday, September 24th

Final submissions Must Be Received: by Friday, October 24th. 

Winners will be announced Friday, October 31.

Submission Guidelines

  • One submission per Patron.
  • You must add a DIY/Handmade element to your pet's costume. Please do not submit purely store-bought costumes.
  • All pets can be entered, not just dogs and cats!
  • Videos cannot be submitted.  
  • No explicit imagery or words. Please keep the costume family friendly.

If Studio staff determines your submission is against the guidelines, your submission will not be counted for voting.

"Cauldron Critters" Crafting Classes

Throughout October, the Studio will have classes with tips and tricks for adding pieces to your costumes. 

  • Monday, October 6th (5:30 -7PM): Paper, Cardboard, Vinyl, Oh My!
  • Monday, October 13th (5:30-7PM): Hand Sewing                                                    
  • Monday, October 20th (5:30-7PM): Final Touches
