Program Description

Event Details

Despite his strong connection to Poland, famous pianist and politician Ignacy Jan Paderewski considered America his "second homeland." Join Bogdan Goc, history expert and Council Member at the Aurea Libertas Institute, as we explore Paderewski’s deep connection to the United States.

In this second part of the series, discover how his friendships with American elites, including politicians and philanthropists, shaped his musical career and influence in business circles.

Paderewski's impact went beyond music, with philanthropic contributions and investments in land, including a large estate in California. Through his extensive traveling concerts, he captivated audiences across the country, leaving a legacy as both a composer and a cultural ambassador. His lasting influence on American culture and his strong ties to the country make him an extraordinary figure whose life continues to inspire.

Registration Encouraged

This is an extension of Ignacy Jan Paderewski: A Life with Purpose, focusing on his time in America. Each part is standalone, and attendance at Part 1 is not required to enjoy this session.
