Sonya Huber grew up right here in New Lenox! In her essay collection, Love and Industry: A Midwestern Workbook (Belt Publishing), she lovingly explores how New Lenox and the Midwest have defined her life. Huber is the author of 8 books including the award-winning Pain Woman Takes Your Keys, two writing guides, and others. Enjoy a short reading by the author followed by a Q&A focused on her new book and her experience with memoir writing.
