Ages 3 months – 6 years Dance around, listen to stories, sing songs, play with instruments, then move and groove with your friends during toy time. No registration is required.

Join others and enjoy a pickup game of Scrabble at the library! Just bring yourself and we will provide the scrabble boards for your playing pleasure.  

Ages 3 – 36 months Stay after storytime for more toy time, or jump in and join us! There will be a unique out-of-the-box spin every week. No registration is required. Sign in on the Storytime Room door.

Practice your computer skills in an encouraging group setting with dedicated staff instruction. Bring your laptop or tablet with you; limited number of laptops on site. To reserve a library laptop (Mac or Windows), call 815-495-2605 ext.

Grades K – 2 Discover awesome hands-on experiments and activities. We'll focus on a different S.T.E.M. area each session. You'll get to see just how cool science, technology, engineering, and math can be!

Grades 4 – 8 Join us as we talk about books, have a snack, and do fun activities! Pick up books at the Circulation desk.

Love crafting, but short on time? Stop by our Quick Craft Station at Adult Services to make the craft of the month! Stop in any time between 5:30-7:30 pm to make yourself one of these cool crafts!

Ages 3 – 6 with a caregiver Hear a story and make a simple snack. Please inform staff of any food allergies during registration. No older or younger siblings please.

Grades K – 2 Join us for Bedtime Math’s Crazy 8s.

All ages with a caregiver It’s a family slumber party! Throw on your jammies, grab your favorite stuffie, and cuddle up for storytime fun, a craft, and a bedtime snack. No registration is required.
