In accordance with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1), the New Lenox Public Library District provides public access to information regarding the operation of the Library, its governance, and its use of public funds.

- A general description of the Library and its mission
- The current operating budget and funding sources
- A list of current Board of Trustees members
- The names and contact information of the designated FOIA Officers
- The preferred method for submitting FOIA requests
- The schedule of fees for copies and certifications
- A list of records available for public inspection
Requests for information may be submitted electronically through the website or in writing to the designated FOIA Officers as outlined online.
The Library will comply with all statutory response timelines and exemptions as outlined in the Illinois Freedom of Information Act.
