Mission Statement & Goals

Be an active voice in the Library community by participating in a variety of Library services and events. TAG emphasizes volunteering and developing leadership skills.

Teens will reach these goals by:

  • Regularly attending monthly meetings
  • Attending programs and events for teens at the Library
  • Making and providing productive contributions toward group discussions
  • Creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all program participants
  • Eagerly fulfilling the duties of any assigned T.A.G. positions
  • Adhering to the Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

  • I will be respectful to everyone in this program, including their ideas and opinions.
  • I will not interrupt others while they are speaking.
  • I will not use bad language or put others down.
  • I will clean up my space at the table and any common spaces before the program ends.
  • I will keep my phone quiet.
  • I will be a role model to my peers and hold myself to a high standard.
  • I will be mature, cooperate with others, and always follow directions.
