Want to learn how to sew? Join Rachael as she teaches a different project each month, helping you gain a variety of sewing skills with a machine or by hand. We recommend learning on your own sewing machine.

3rd-7th grade. Make friends and get creative at this three week Dungeons and Dragons campaign perfect for beginner and experienced players alike.

Join our long-running book club as they discuss a different mystery each month! Stop at the Patron Services desk to pick up a copy of the book at any time. 

4th -8th grade. This month's Geek Out will be a celebration for patrons who have attended 4 or more Geek Out sessions throughout the year!  Enjoy pizza, games, and vote for your favorite graphic novel read this year!

Ages 6 and up with a caregiver.  Engage in friendly competition and test your wits with a variety of exciting trivia challenges that span literature, history, science, and more.

Business book club meets at the New Lenox Library the third Wednesday of every month from 9:30am-11am.

The I-PASS team will be at the library to share information about the I-PASS Assist program for Illinois Tollway users. This program offers drivers the chance to have their Tollway fees and fines waived.

Join local writers to discuss and workshop your writing. The group welcomes those new to the art as well as those with experience.

Ages 8-12.  Learn the basics of chess & use your skills with other players in this three week program.

3rd-5th grade. The Bluestem Award is an Illinois Readers' Choice Award program for students in 3rd through 5th grade.

We’ll use the SawGrass500 to create a design in CreativeStudio, print it, and heat transfer it onto an item.

Ages 4 & up with caregiver.  Join us for a fun-filled Family Bingo Night at the library! Gather your loved ones for an evening of excitement and friendly competition.

Join author, UK travel/relocation consultant and former UK resident Claire Evans for a delightful culinary tour of the UK inspired by “The Great British Baking Show” television series, aired on PBS and Netflix.

Ages 8-13. Join us for a discussion of everything weird, wacky, and wonderful! Each month will focus on a bizarre topic and include a themed activity.  THEME: The Roswell Effect

Learn how to edit videos together, create photo slideshows, add music, and other basic editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro. This class is beginner friendly and no prior knowledge is necessary.

Ages 4-6. Sing along with songs, listen to fun stories, then wrap it all up with a hands-on art project. Caregivers may sign-in participants and stay within the youth department during the duration of the program.
