Founded in 1966, The Friends of the New Lenox Library is a group of people who support the New Lenox Public Library District and help the library expand its potential to serve the New Lenox community.
Ongoing fundraising and special events, such as the Book Sale, Spring Gala, and Community Rummage Sale, are vital to making more wonderful things happen here in New Lenox! Our fundraising efforts add valuable new equipment and services to the library every year, such as establishing our amazing Digital Media Lab in 2014.

Are you looking to be more involved in our community? The Friends of the New Lenox Library are always looking for more people interested in joining. This is a great way to get involved with just a little time and effort to commit.
If you are interested in getting involved, submit a membership application online or pick one up at the Library. Individual membership is $10 per year, and a family membership is $25 per year.
The Friends of the New Lenox Library meet every first Wednesday of the month from 4:00–5:00pm at the New Lenox Library. Please check at the Circulation Desk for the meeting location in the library.
