Founded in 1966, The Friends of the New Lenox Library is a group of people who support the New Lenox Public Library District and help the library expand its potential to serve the New Lenox community. Ongoing fundraising like the Book Sale and selling cookbooks, as well as special events such as the Spring Gala and the Community Rummage Sale.
The Friends are an important library support. Our fundraising efforts add valuable new equipment and services to the library every year, such as establishing the Digital Media Lab in 2014.
