The Friends are a vital library and community support. Our fundraising efforts add valuable new equipment and services to the library every year, such as establishing the Digital Media Lab and sponsoring our 18th hole at Ghouls & Golf each year.
Founded in 1966, The Friends of the New Lenox Library is a group of people who support the New Lenox Public Library District and help the library expand its potential to serve the New Lenox community. Ongoing fundraising like the Book Sale and selling cookbooks, as well as special events such as the Spring Gala and the Community Rummage Sale.

Are you looking to be more involved in our community? The Friends of the New Lenox Library are always looking for more people interested in joining. This is a great way to get involved with just a little time and effort to commit.
If you are interested in getting involved, pick a membership application up at the Library. Individual membership is $10 per year, and a family membership is $25 per year. Our online application is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience.
